أسطورة من أساطير عازفي آلة الكلارينت، تعرفت عليه من فرقته الموسيقية “حوار” التي كانت تضم مجموعة من الموسيقيين المحترفين منهم: عصام رافع (عازف عود)، ديمة اورشو (مغنية سوبرانو)، كنان أبو عفش (آلة التشيللو) وعمر نصفي. تأسست في عام 2003 وأطلق أول البوم موسيقي لها في عام 2005، وفي عام 2006 اطلقت البوم أخر تحت عنوان “9 أيام من العزلة”.

كنان العظمة من مواليد دمشق عام 1976 بدأ العزف في السادسة من عمره على آلة الكمان، درس الهندسة الكهربائية وتخرج من المعهد العالي للموسيقى في دمشق من ثم حصل على الماجستير في الموسيقى في نيويورك. حاز على جائزة نيقولاي روبنشتاين الدولية في موسكو عام 1997. وعزف مع العديد من الفرق السمفونية، وبجانب عزفه في فرقة حوار ومع الفرق السمفونية أسس عدة فرق موسيقية أخرى منها فرقة موسيقى الحجرة ومجموعة كنان العظمة في عام 2006 كما قدّم موسيقى تصويرية للأفلام.
